  Margaret Waithera Kimani is currently the Head of Diaspora Banking at Chase Bank Kenya Ltd, charged with the execution of the Bank’s Diaspora business development and relationship management .

  Maggie is an MBA Graduate in Financial Management from Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts in USA. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics & Business Economics from Kenyatta University(Nairobi, Kenya) and second degree in Bachelor of Science in Financial Economics from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.

  She is an accomplished professional with extensive wealth of international banking experience in Investment Banking, Leadership and financial management. She has over 10 years work experience abroad in the Investment Banking Sector including Global Pricing arena and Wallstreet Stock Trading. She previously worked for State Street Bank Corporation in Boston, Massachusetts (NYSE:STT) in USA; world’s largest Leading Financial Services provider serving some of the world’s most sophisticated Institutional Investors with its headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts. USA. State Street is also a No. 1 provider of US mutual fund custody and accounting services with US$20.2 trillion in assets under custody and administration, and US$1.9 trillion under management. Maggie started out with State Street Bank years ago and rose through the banking ranks purely by merit in various Investment banking positions and spearheaded various bank projects in different capacities throughout the years, nurturing tremendous International banking experience. During her tenure at State Street Bank she was a member of Bank’s Employee Management Council (EMC) from 2006 to 2010.

  Besides her successful Financial Career, she is an active Goodwill Ambassador in humanitarian works towards alleviating human suffering and Youth Empowerment both locally and globally. She is very passionate about making a positive difference in her beautiful country of Kenya. She is the Founder & President of Nduta Angels Foundation (A Kenyan-American Charitable Organization).
